2000 Toyota Celica Overview

A two-door hatchback sports car, the 2000 Toyota Celica has been completely redesigned for the new model year. The Celica is available in two trims; the GT and the GTS. Both are powered by a 1.8L four-cylinder engine however, the GT produces 140 hp and the GTS is rated at 180 hp. Also, both versions are rated over 30 mpg on the highway. The GT comes standard with a five-speed manual transmission while the GTS is fitted with a six-speed manual. Both trims are also available with an automatic.
