The 2002 Volkswagen New Beetle features cool retro styling, bright exterior color choices and quality construction associated with the Volkswagen nameplate. Offered in a two door Coupe body style, the New Beetle features engines ranging from a 115 horsepower 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder to a 180 horsepower 1.8-liter turbocharged inline 4-cylinder, with your choice of automatic or manual transmission. A 90 horsepower 1.9-liter 4-cylinder Diesel is also available. It boasts a nice list of standard equipment, including air conditioning, keyless entry, power controls, airbags and ABS.
