2004 Volkswagen New Beetle Coupe Overview

Similar to its convertible counterpart, the 2004 Volkswagen New Beetle Coupe sees very little change this model year. Available in GL, GLS, GLS 1.8T and Turbo S trim levels, buyers have the choice between a 115 horsepower 2.0-liter inline 4-cylinder, a 150 horsepower 1.8-liter inline 4-cylinder or a 180 horsepower 1.8-liter inline 4-cylinder. The GL and GLS models are also offered with a 100 horsepower 1.9-liter diesel inline 4-cylinder with Turbocharged Direct Injection. ABS brakes, air conditioning and front/side-body/side-head airbags are standard on all models.
