2005 Kia Optima Overview

A carry-over from 2004, the Optima is a four-door five-passenger family sedan that is offered in LX trim that features a 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 162 horsepower and a five-speed manual transmission as standard. The EX model features a 2.7-liter V6 that puts out 185 horsepower and comes standard with a five-speed automatic transmission that is an option on the LX model.
