2005 Audi A8 Overview

A carry-over for 2004, the A8 comes complete with the addition of the A8 short wheelbase or the longer L model which adds an additional 5.1? in body length (all for the benefit of the rear passengers). The standard engine is the 4.2-liter V8 engine that produces 335 horsepower or the W12 that generates 450. Both engines are linked to a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode and a Quattro all-wheel-drive system. For added safety, there are ten air bags including protection for the knee area.
