Redesigned for 2009, the Hyundai Azera features upgraded steering and suspension, a new chrome grille, blue interior lighting, standard electro-luminescent gauges and a new audio head unit with a larger display and auxiliary inputs. Among the 2009 Hyundai Azera GLS standard features is a 3.3L V6 engine that generates 234 hp and 226 lb-ft of torque, while providing fuel economy of 18 mpg city/26 mpg hwy and 21 mpg combined. The Azera Limited is equipped with a 3.8L V6 engine producing 263 hp and 257 lb-ft of torque and gets fuel economy in the 17 mpg city/26 mpg hwy and 20 mpg combined ranges. A five-speed automatic comes standard, along with numerous safety features, such as antilock disc brakes, traction and stability control, active front head restraints, front-seat side airbags, rear-seat side airbags and full-length side curtain airbags. All in all, the 4-door, 5-passenger Azera sedan gives you a lot of value, fuel economy, safety and even some luxury for a very affordable price.
