A grand tourer sports car based on the DB9, the 2011 Aston Martin DBS is available in coupe and soft-top convertible body styles. Both body styles are powered by a 5.9 liter V12 engine that produces 510 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque, for a 0-60 time of 4.3 seconds and top speed of 191 mph. Rear-wheel drive can be paired with a standard 6-speed manual transmission or optional 6-speed automatic. Fuel mileage is an EPA estimated 11 mpg city and 17 mpg highway, for a combined 13 mpg. Features include 20-inch wheels, full-grain leather interior, heated seats, satellite radio, front parking sensors, rear parking sensors, boot-mounted umbrella, Dolby? audio system, six-CD changer, iPod? connectivity, hands-free phone capability, hard disk drive, and satellite navigation. Safety is comprised of dual-stage front airbags, tire pressure monitoring system, traction control, emergency brake assist, electronic brake distribution, anti-lock braking system, and dynamic stability control. DBS owners can upgrade to a Carbon Black trim that features carbon black paint and black interior trimming. The DBS is backed by a 3-year/unlimited mile warranty.
