2011 BMW 1 Series M Overview

All new for 2011, the BMW 1 Series M is a RWD performance based compact coupe equipped with a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 engine, paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, that produces 335 hp and 332 lb-ft of torque. The 1 series M does 0-60 in 4.7 seconds while managing reasonable fuel economy, EPA estimated 19 mpg city and 26 mpg highway. Upgraded performance highlights consists of an upgraded braking system, and variable M differential lock, intended to provide the driver with optimum rear-wheel traction. Features include xenon headlights, HD radio, engine start/stop button, automatic climate control, enhanced premium sound, satelite radio, navigation, ambiance lighting, heated front seats, power front seats, and iPod USB integration. Safety is comprised of front airbags, seat-mounted side-impact airbags, head protection system, adaptive brake lights, dynamic stability control, anti-lock braking, and tire pressure monitoring. The BMW 1 Series M is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
