2011 BMW X6 M Overview

Introduced in 2009, the 2011 BMW X6 M is a cross between a sport coupe and an SUV. The X6 M features a 555-hp 4.4-liter V8 with twin-turbocharging, a first for any M division vehicle. Putting the power to the ground is a 6-speed paddle-shift automatic transmission linked to an xDrive all-wheel drive system. This 5000-lb machine roars from 0 to 60 in the mid 4 second range and handles corners with surprising stability and control. Exclusive comfort, technology and safety features including 4th generation i-Drive system, Dynamic Cruise Control, head-up display and cameras in the sides and rear of the vehicle. BMW has taken a four-door coupe, added the capabilities of an SUV, then added the M treatment to create one of the highest performing vehicles in this segment.
