2011 Chevrolet Malibu Overview

Power locks and windows, cruise control, tilt steering wheel as well as air conditioning are all standard equipment on the 2011 Chevrolet Malibu LS. Cup holders, LATCH system and XM Satellite radio are also included on all 2011 Malibu sedans. 2011 Chevrolet Malibu LT models adds steering wheel audio controls aluminum wheels. Available at an extra cost on the LS and LT, the Malibu LTZ includes Bluetooth connectivity are standard. Remote vehicle starter, power adjustable front leather seating and Bose premium speakers are also found on LTZ-equipped 2011 Chevrolet Malibu sedans. A 2.4 liter inline-four cylinder engine producing 169 horsepower is found on all 2011 Chevrolet Malibu models, but a 3.6 liter V-6 power plant is optional on LT and LTZ models. Fuel economy for the larger V-6 averages over 21 miles per gallon while the Malibu's smaller 4-cylinder musters an improved number better than 27 miles per gallon. For the 2011 model year, all Chevrolet Malibu models use a six-speed automatic transmission with TAP shift manual shifting control.
