The 2011 Jaguar XJ has undergone its most drastic redesign since the introduction of the British luxury car company's flagship in 1969. On sale early 2010, the 2011 Jaguar XJ and the larger wheelbase XJL can be equipped with either a base, Supercharged or Supersport model trim. Standard convenience features on the 2011 Jaguar XJ includes dual-zone air conditioning, a full-color touchscreen navigation monitor, Jaguar's Interactive Voice and a panoramic glass roof. Rear-wheel driven by the effort of a 6-speed automatic transmission, engine choices between a variety of V-8 powerplants complement the 2011 Jaguar XJ lineup. Base 2011 XJ sedans include a normally-aspirated 5-liter V-8 producing 385 horsepower while a supercharged powerplant is equipped on the higher performance-oriented levels.
