For 2011, the Kia Sedona minivan receives a major mechanical refit which includes adding 27 horsepower thanks to a new 3.5 liter V-6 engine and upgrading to a 6-speed automatic transmission. Sold as an LX or EX trim model, the 2011 Kia Sedona offers steering wheel-mounted controls, front and rear air conditioning as well as an 8-speaker audio system as no extra cost items. Bluetooth connectivity is standard throughout the Kia Sedona lineup for 2011. On the upper-trimmed Kia Sedona EX, power tailgate, backup camera, and fog lamps are found added to the standard equipment listing. For the 2011 Sedona EX, optional equipment bundles include a Luxury Package offering leather seating and tri-zone automatic climate control while a rear seat DVD entertainment system is also available via the Premium Entertainment Package. As desired from a 7-passenger minivan, the 2011 Kia Sedona comes with a stack of standard safety features such as anti-lock braking, electronic stability control and an audible backup warning system.
