Updated for 2011, the Land Rover LR2 boasts some exterior and interior modifications. On the outside the LR2 received a new front bumper and grille. The interior sports redesigned seats and interior instruments. Changes however don't make their way under the hood, leaving the LR2 with its 3.2-liter inline V6 that produces 230 hp and 234 lb-ft of torque. Fuel mileage is an EPA estimated 15 mpg city and 22 mpg highway The previous 4x4 as well as the new economical 4x2 drivetrains are paired with a 6-speed Command Shift? automatic transmission that enables the driver to make manual sequential changes. Off-roading features include Terrain Response system, standard all-wheel-drive, and Gradient Release Control. Other features include rear-park assist, tailgate spoiler, panoramic sunroof, keyless start, bi-xenon headlamps, air-conditioning, touch-screen DVD satellite navigation system, auxiliary audio connection, and a 12-speaker sound system. Safety is comprised of front airbags, side curtain airbags, emergency brake assist, anti-lock braking, traction control, and electronic brake force distribution. The LR2 is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
