2011 Nissan Altima Overview

The 2011 Nissan Altima is a mid-sized car available in hybrid and coupe trim levels. The sedan and coupe trims are available with two engine options; a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 175 hp or a 3.5-liter V6 engine that produces 270 hp. Both trims are FWD, come with Xtronic continuously variable automatic transmission, and the coupe has a standard option of a 6-speed manual. Fuel mileage comes in an EPA estimated range of 18 mpg city and 32 mpg highway, depending on engine and transmission selection. The Altima Hybrid is powered by a 2.5-liter 4-cylinder hybrid engine. This FWD hybrid vehicle comes standard with Xtronic continuously variable automatic transmission and gets an EPA estimated 33 mpg city and 33 mpg highway. Packaged options include alloy wheel package, convenience package, convenience plus package, fog lights, premium audio package, rear spoiler, aluminum kick plates, and technology package. Safety features include front-passenger/curtain-side airbags, traction control system, vehicle dynamic control, hood buckling creases with safety stops, and tire pressure monitoring system.
