The 2012 Chevrolet Express Cargo van comes in 1500, 2500 or 3500 variants. As well as offering a choice of either a 135-inch or 155-inch wheelbase, the 2500 and 3500 models of the 2012 Chevrolet Express Cargo vans offer additional ground clearance. Entry level 2012 Express 1500 model power comes with either a 195 horsepower, 4.3 liter V-6 or a 5.3 liter FlexFuel V-8 engine generating 310 horsepower. Both engine choices on the 2012 Chevrolet Express 1500 Cargo van are matched with a four-speed automatic as standard. For larger towing and hauling requirements, the 2012 Express 2500 and 3500 Cargo vans provides more professional grade power. Two V-8 engines, a 280 horsepower 4.8 liter and a 323 horsepower 6-liter powerplant, are equipped on the higher range of Chevrolet?s full-sized cargo van with the added perk of E85 fuel flexibility. A 6-speed automatic transmission is included with the 2012 Express 2500 and 3500 Cargo van. With up to 10,000 pounds of towing capacity furnished with the 6-liter gasoline engine, the Chevrolet Express 2500 and 3500 Cargo vans also offer a 6.6 Duramax turbodiesel powerplant that can pull with 525 pounds-feet of torque. Air conditioning, external transmission cooler, dual 12-volt power outlets and forward airbags are standard equipment on all 2012 Chevrolet Express Cargo vans.
