The 2012 Chevrolet Malibu is an affordable family car choice featuring five passenger seating and 15.1 cubic feet of cargo space. Largely unchanged from the previous model year, the mid-sized 2012 Chevrolet Malibu is represented by three trim levels. Starting with the LS model, the 2012 Malibu comes standard with air conditioning, cruise control, remote keyless entry and 17-inch wheels. Ultra bright aluminum wheels and steering wheel mounted controls are included on the mid-level LT trim version of the Chevrolet Malibu. The luxuriously equipped 2012 Chevrolet Malibu LTZ includes many desirable standard features including leather seating, Bluetooth connectivity, automatic climate control and 8-way power driver seat adjustment. The 2012 Chevrolet Malibu is powered by a 155 horsepower, 2.4 liter inline-4 or a 3.6 liter V-6 producing 252 horsepower. The six-cylinder engine is optional on the LT trimmed 2012 Malibu and standard on the top-tiered LTZ sedan. All engines are matched with a 6-speed automatic transmission. StabiliTrak stability control, six air bags, electric-assist steering and four-wheel anti-lock brakes offers maximum real world safety for occupants of the 2012 Chevrolet Malibu.
