2012 Kia Rio Overview

Restyled for 2012, the Kia Rio is a FWD subcompact sedan powered by a 1.6-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 138 hp and 123 lb-ft of torque. Transmission options consist of a standard 6-speed manual and an optional 6-speed automatic transmission, both of which enable the Rio to achieve an EPA estimated 30 mpg city and 40 mpg highway. Features include 17-inch wheels, sport-tuned suspension, dual exhaust tips, rear-camera display, push button start, navigation, leather seat trim, hands-free phone capabilities, and heated front seats. Safety is comprised of advanced front airbags, seat-mounted side airbags, side curtain airbags, anti-lock braking, electronic stability control, and tire pressure monitoring. The Rio is backed by a 5-year/60,000-mile warranty.
