Fresh off of last year's update, the 2012 Land Rover LR2 is powered 3.2-liter inline V6 that produces 230 hp and 234 lb-ft of torque. 4x4 and 4x2 drivetrains are paired with a 6-speed Command Shift? automatic transmission that enables the driver to make manual sequential changes. Fuel mileage falls within an EPA estimated range of 15 mpg city and 22 mpg highway. Off-roading features include Terrain Response system, standard all-wheel-drive, and Gradient Release Control. Other features include rear-park assist, tailgate spoiler, panoramic sunroof, keyless start, bi-xenon headlamps, air-conditioning, touch-screen DVD satellite navigation system, auxiliary audio connection, and a 12-speaker sound system. Safety is comprised of front airbags, side curtain airbags, emergency brake assist, anti-lock braking, traction control, and electronic brake force distribution. The LR2 is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
