The 2012 Mercedes-Benz G-Class is a luxury off-road capable five passenger SUV powered by a 5.5-liter V8 engine that produces 382 hp and 391 lb-ft of torque. The G550 comes with 4WD and a 7-speed automatic transmission that grants the SUV an EPA estimated 12 mpg city and 15 mpg highway. All available options come standard on the G-Class and safety features are comprised of 8-way airbag protection, antilock braking, brake assist, rear park assist, and 4-wheel electronic traction system. For those who crave AMG performance, a G55 AMG trim is available with a 5.5-liter V8 engine that produces 500 hp and 516 lb-ft of torque. The all-wheel drive G55 AMG is available with a 5-speed automatic transmission and like the G550, all available Mercedes-Benz options come standard. The G-Class is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
