The 2012 Mitsubishi Outlander Sport is a compact SUV powered by a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 148 hp and 145 lb-ft of torque. The standard FWD drivetrain can be paired with a 5-speed manual or CVT automatic while the optional AWD is solely available with the CVT transmission. Fuel mileage falls within an EPA estimated range of 23 mpg city to 31 mpg highway, depending on drivetrain and transmission selection. Features include 18-inch wheels, HID headlights, panoramic glass roof, hands-free phone capabilities, push button start, rear-view back-up camera, premium 9-speaker audio system, and 40GB HDD navigation. Safety is comprised of seven airbags, all-wheel control, active stability control, anti-lock braking, and brake override. The Outlander Sport is backed by a 5-year/60,000-mile warranty.
