2012 Toyota Camry Overview

Completely redesigned for 2012, the Toyota Camry is a FWD mid-size sedan with seating for five. Engines choices include a standard 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine, 178 hp and 170 lb-ft of torque, and optional 3.5-liter V6 engine that yields 268 hp and 248 lb-ft of torque. Transmission options consist solely of a 6-speed automatic. Fuel mileage is improved, thanks to a reduced curbside weight, to an EPA estimated 25 mpg city and 35 mpg highway, for a combined average of 28 mpg. Features include integrated front fog lamps, 8-speaker sound system, voice-activated touchscreen navigation, heated outside mirrors, sport leather-trimmed seats, heated front seats and push button start. Safety is comprised of vehicle stability control, traction control, anti-lock braking, electronic brake force distribution, brake assist, smart stop technology, driver and front passenger advanced airbag system, seat-mounted side airbags, front/rear side-curtain airbags and direct tire pressure monitoring. The Camry is backed by a 3-year/36,000-mile warranty.
