2013 BMW M5 Overview

All new for 2013, the BMW M5 mid-size, performance-oriented, luxury sedan with seating for five. Under the hood drivers will find a 4.4-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine that produces 560 hp, for a 0-60 time of 4.5 seconds. A 7-speed double clutch automatic transmission or 6-speed manual are paired with RWD to enable fuel mileage within an EPA estimated range of 14 mpg city to 22 mpg highway. Performance features include M Drive, enhanced braking, M differential, and M dynamic damper control. Features include glass sunroof, dual-zone climate controls, iPod/iPhone integration, navigation system, heated front seats, and premium sound. Safety is comprised of anti-lock braking, advanced airbags, emergency brake assist (BA), traction control system (TCS), brake drying, tire pressure monitoring (TPMS), rearview camera, and night vision with pedestrian detection. The M5 is backed by a 4-year/50,000-mile warranty.
