Carried over with minimal changes, the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee is a mid-size SUV with off-road capabilities and a towing capacity in excess of 7,000 lbs. Engine-transmission combinations consist of a 3.6-liter V6 (290 hp/260 lb-ft of torque) with a 5-speed automatic, 5.7-liter V8 (360 hp/390 lb-ft of torque) with a 6-speed automatic, and the SRT8 trim that is 6.4-liter V8 (470 hp/465 lb-ft of torque) paired with a 5-speed automatic transmission. RWD and 4WD drivetrains yield fuel mileage within an EPA estimated range of 12 mpg city to 23 mpg highway, depending on engine selection. Features include 20-inch wheels, bi-xenon HID headlamps, rear seat entertainment system, 19-speaker sound system, steering-wheel mounted controls, leather interior, navigation, heated steering-wheel, and a dual-pane panoramic sunroof. Safety is comprised of advanced airbags, anti-lock braking (ABS), electronic stability control (ESC), collision warning, blind-spot monitoring, and trailer sway control.
