2012 BMW 6 Series Overview

Using the same chassis found on the 5 and 7 Series BMW cars, the 2012 6 Series exterior design carries the brand?s kidney grille work in a larger, forward-reaching presentation. Xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights completes the modern look of the new 6 Series. Running on standard all-season run-flat tires around 19-inch light alloy wheels, handling for the 2012 BMW 6 Series is crafted by electronically customizable Driving Dynamic Control. Inside a four adult-occupant cabin, the redesigned dash panel features a center-mounted 10.2 inch "Central Display? screen. Equipped with BMW?s iDrive, the 2012 6 Series standard air conditioning as well as HIFI audio system includes HD radio, USB connection and 9-speaker sound. 3-D heads up display, lane departure warning system as well as rear and top view cameras are high-tech safety featured as options on the BMW 6 Series. Using a 4.4 liter V-8 engine producing 400 horsepower, the BMW 6 Series uses an ultra-smooth 8-speed Sport automatic transmission. 2012 BMW 6 Series Cabriolet versions boast a lightweight powered soft top requiring only 19 seconds to retract and 24 seconds to deploy.
