2011 Ford Ranger Overview

Said to be a match of Ford's heritage, efficiency and affordability, the 2011 Ford Ranger compact truck comes in a rather shallow range of three trim levels consisting of the XL, XLT and the Sport. Discontinuing the longer bed version as well as the FX4 trim heading into this year, a rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive option is available with the 2011 Ranger along with three cab configurations. Powered by a standard 2.3 liter inline-4 engine on the XL and XLT, this 143 horsepower engine promotes class-topping fuel mileage of 22 miles city or 27 miles highway. A higher-powered 207 horsepower 4-liter V-6 engine is optional on the 2011 Ford Ranger XLT and standard on the Sport trim. Standard equipment on all 2011 Rangers includes AdvanceTrac with Roll Stability Control, gas-charged shock absorbers and an underbody slid plate. 2011 is the final year for this current Ford Ranger.
