I am reviewing Russell even though I did not purchase a car through him. I am investing my time in this review because of the hours, care and professionalism Russell invested & exhibited during my automobile search process. Of all of the sales representatives I met with during my search (Mercedes, Volvo, Audi and Acura), Russell stood out. He recognized my "itch" to test drive the XC90 upon arriving, and rather than sit me down at a desk and talk at me for any length of time, he simply grabbed his coat, the car keys and off we went. Russell knew the car's performance would do the talking for the product... He simply needed to call out highlights, compare the vehicle to my Mercedes ML350 I was about to turn in from lease, and get to know me & my/my family's priorities. After the test drive, Russell helped me search the dealership's arcane inventory system (the *only* fault I had with my entire experience - and one that is incredibly easy to resolve with some minor website programming) for models with my desired feature set. When I had to leave at a specific time, Russell promised to continue the next day, and not only did he do that, he spent time walking the dealership lot in the freezing cold to verify the models on hand so I could view them during my next visit. Although I ultimately chose a different brand of SUV due to our family's unique cost & feature requirements at this time, when I come out of my now new lease, Russell will be my very first stop.

I have been purchasing or leasing vehicles from Boston Volvo Village for over a decade. I feel so fortunate to have met Kerry Trainor. Each time I have worked with Kerry I have had a wonderful experience (I dislike shopping, particularly when it is supposed to involve negotiating about price.) Kerry is a lovely person with a lot of integrity. He is also an excellent listener. Amazingly, he uses his gifts of perceptive listening to match a person's needs with an appropriate vehicle. He understands all of the intricacies of the Volvo technology, safety and other features but never uses this information to impress, intimidate or pressure to purchase. I know that I can really trust him. The circumstances under which I purchased my first car from him (fully loaded and pricing was less significant) were different than the last two times when I decided to lease. He treated me respectfully and explored all the different options with me. He also never used my sensitivities about safety or my two young children as leverage to close a deal. Rather, he helped me to think strategically about how to achieve my goals. I am so confident that I am being well cared for when I purchase or lease a vehicle from Kerry that I did not even test drive the most recent vehicle. When I drove the car off the lot, it exceeded my expectations. I am introverted and all too often overworked and without time to take a moment. I always take a moment to say "hello" and exchange a few updates with Kerry when I have my car serviced, even though the loaner car is ready to go. If you need a vehicle, I strongly recommend calling him. He is wonderful person and a true professional.

My wife and I just purchased an XC90 from Boston Volvo Village. Couldn't be happier with how things went. Felt we were treated very fairly and actually enjoyed dealing with Russ and Paul. What I think set them apart was transparency... they were very clear about how they arrived at price of the vehicle, trade in, etc. Also think both of them did a good job at listening to what we really wanted without trying to force something on us that we didn't need. Ultimately, we walked away happy and I hope they did too. Thanks Russ and Paul!

Peter was great to work with, positive notes end there. Waited 3 hours to get into the finance office after we agreed to terms, lost the title for the car ('10 MB C300) I bought so it didn't get delivered for 6 weeks. I have had it for less than 2 months and have spent over $1000 on a new battery, thermostat and other small things. Did not stand behind any of it , have had to talk to MA A.G. and working with them. Go see Peter ifyou want a new Volvo, otherwise stay away!
