I brought my 2004 S60 in because of an electrical/computer problem. The auto mechanic I usually trust and use could not diagnose/treat the problem because he did not have the software specific to Volvo cars. After spending $130.00 to have the problem diagnosed, I was told the car needed approximately $3000.00 in repairs. After considerable thought of deciding to put so much money in a ten -year -old car, we decided to repair the most expensive item, the driver information module (DIM), after the car broke down again. After spending $1700.00 to have the DIM replaced, less than a week later, the car broke down again with the same problem. The car went back to Ramsey Volvo and was told there was another problem which caused the DIM to malfunction again and another $1100.00 would be required to fix the problem. If I knew initially, when I paid $130.00 to have the problem diagnosed, that the repairs would be so extensive I would have declined them. Now I spent $1700.00 and the problem is not fixed and I do not trust their advice that another $1100.00 would make the electrical/computer problem fixed. And there are still another $1000.00 plus dollars in repairs that are not related to the DIM. I feel that I was taken advantage of and the reason why the DIM was malfunctioning should have been addressed initially. I would not go back there or recommend their service department.

He was was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles. John also made the buying process smooth and painless. Overall, the staff and the dealership were AWESEOME!
