I have purchased 2 cars from Sendell VW in previous years. As a repeat customer you would expect good service. As a new customer you would expect good service. We had a horrific experience during our last visit. We dealt with 2 people who had no knowledge of cars, we waited 20 minutes outside for anyone to even acknowledge us, we were quoted a price over the phone and when we got to the dealer somehow the price went up $120 a month. I could go on and on about all of the bad service we had, but bottom line is we won't ever go back.

Jim was very forceful and annoying. Tried very hard to get us to buy on the spot. Spent the majority of the time watching him hase around managers and finance people. Sort of insulting with our other vehicle considerations. Pulled up CARFAX of another car we were considering and told us why it was not a good car. Very pushy "dirty talk" salesman.

I had a horrible experience at this dealer. I am not one to give negative feedback to anyone, however I do not think that my issue was dealt with appropriatly so I want others to know about it. I had a small oil leak coming from just above the oil pan. It took them a few tries (and hundreds of dollars) to find and fix the leak of which I had to pay for their incorrect part replacements even though they weren't actually the broken parts. This is somewhat understandable since they had trouble initially finding what the problem was. However, when I went to pick up the car after paying over $1000, there was a puddle under it still, so instead of risking the hour drive home, I asked for a rental and left it there. The next day, they called me and said I should have taken it home and there was nothing wrong with it and it was just residual oil dripping from the original leak. I do not understand why they did not wipe this oil off to see if it was actually done leaking since the puddle under it seemed to be about the same that it was leaking when I first brought it in. They were rude and said I had to get the rental back to them the next day or they would charge me for it. To top it all off, the car was still under warranty but they said that we somehow caused the leak by changing our own oil so they would not cover it (the leak ended up being above the oil pan).

I bought a used Jetta from Jim two weeks ago, and am extremely pleased with the vehicle and the service that I received at Sendell VW. They are first class! Jim and I quickly agreed on the price of the car, and I feel that I got a very fair price. There were a few cosmetics things that I wanted taken care of, a small scratch on the hood and the window control lever was worn. Jim agreed to have them all taken care of before I picked up the car. Everything was done to my satisfaction the night I picked up the Jetta. Josie handled all the financing for me and I was in and out of the finance office in no time. I highly recommend this organization.

I bought a used Jetta this winter from Sendell and had a very good experience. Carl was my salesman and he really took the time to find the right car for me. There was no high pressure or wierd sales tricks, he was just honest and straight foward. I would definately buy another car from him.
