I received poor customer care when I brought my 2003 Honda Accord in for transmission problems. The service staff were not helpful in addressing my problem. Even though this is a well know and documented issue with V6 early 2000 era vehicles, Honda was unwilling to do anything for me. The dealership said that a new transmission would run $5700 and that if I had problems with that cost, I should call the Honda USA staff. The Honda USA staff said that there was nothing they could do. If there is a well defined problem with the quality of these era vehicles, Honda should take care of the problem. Instead, I received the attitude of: We are Honda, we will sell cars with or without you.

My very first car out of college was a Honda Civic and I loved that car. Honda has had my brand loyalty since then...up until I had the worst every customer service experience in my entire life. And I will never, ever purchase a Honda again as a consequence... We bought our daughter a Honda before moving to North Carolina. Shortly after moving here, she experienced a weird issue with her rear view mirror -- it kept falling off. When we took her car to this dealership, we were told by the service representative that 'they don't deal with that issue.' Huh? Apparently the rear view mirror isn't considered their service responsibility. We walked out that day and sought an auto service company that could reattach the mirror. We have had to reattach that mirror SEVEN times, the last incident took a chunk of the glass off of the windshield. Now you may think that -- well, the heat of this area is cooking the glue and causing the mirror to fall -- sure, that's what we thought initially, but this last incident took place in the dead of winter on a 20 degree day!! I contacted the parts department of the dealership thinking well, maybe the mirror is too heavy, maybe a lighter mirror would solve this never ending issue. I was advised by a most friendly parts department representative that 'sure, we've got several options for you. just come on in and we’ll look through the catalog together to decide what will work best.’ And so I came in the following day, went up to the Parts Department window and explained my reason for being there. In the next five minutes I was told the following: Him: No, there are no other rearview mirror options. Me: Her mirror has dropped off six times, and the seventh time it removed a chunk of the windshield. Him: Maybe it’s what she’s using to reattach the mirror. Me: No, it’s being done by reputable auto service stations because the first time it happened your service department told me that didn’t do that work. Him: Well, you could talk to the Service manager so he can explain why they don’t do that work. Me: I really don’t want an explanation of why Honda doesn’t do the work, I’d like a solution because without the mirror the car becomes unusable. Him: Well I can’t give you a solution. Actually, I’ve worked here over twenty years and I’ve never heard of this issue of the rear-view mirror falling off. Me: Google this — HONDA rear-view mirror falling off & you’ll see over 75K returns to that inquiry. It is a problem. Him: Not in this region, it must be happening elsewhere. Whatever. Then I left knowing I’d never enter a Honda dealership again.

I have never bought a car from a dealership before and was braced for all sorts of up-sale tactics. None of these materialized. Roy was kind, patient, and gave a great impression. The car I ended up buying was perfect. The process took a little while but was quicker than I anticipated. The rest of the staff I dealt with (financial rep), and Roy delivered all necessary information clearly and were responsive to questions I had. I'm very pleased and would recommend this dealership!

Oliver George was a great salesperson...very down to earth and not pushy, but also not dismissive as some other car dealers have been in the past. Felt he handled the sale very well. My wife usually brought the car for service. But this time, I thought I tried it instead. I set up an appointment online and asked for Ken. I put the problem description when I set up the appointment, but when I met Ken, he did not have that information. So I had to describe what the problem was and he wrote the work order. Since I left the car overnight, Ken mentioned that he would have someone checked the car and tomorrow morning Josh would give me a call. And the next day (Christmas Eve around 9 am) Josh did call and said my car was ready. They replaced the rear brake pads, re-surfaced the rear rotor and flushed the brake fluid. Ken and Josh are really nice to work with. Thank you Ken and Josh. But the quality control of works that had been done to the car was different story. After I got home and opened up the hood, to check the brake fluid level, I saw some spills of brake fluid to the area underneath the reservoir. I thought the brake fluid was corrosive, so I had to clean them up myself.
