Drove a long way from home to look at a Tahoe that was priced ridiculously low online. I asked what the catch was and was told there was none- that ole Randy just bought a fleet of tahoes and wanted to have Holiday specials. Before leaving my home I told them about my trade and that it was just valued by another dealer and could I get at least that much before I made the long trip to their dealership. I was told "oh yes. We will match or beat what our competitors provide you." I even offered to send my vehicle's vin # and information prior to my family and leaving to make sure that this was possible and, again, I was told, "no need to do that. We will take care of you and honor what our competitors have already promised you." With papers in hand (stating trade value of my car offered from 2 different competitors) we went to the dealership ready to buy this particular Tahoe that was ridiculously cheap online. Well, come to find out, there is a wash fee, a deliver fee (um, we came to you), a fancy wax fee (really?), and the list goes on. To make matters worse, my trade was marked over $3,000 lower than what I was originally promised (no, they don't care about the competition). When I continued to plead my case (because I never would have wasted anyone's time if I would have known this was the type of service I would have received) I was told how great of a deal I was getting and I should be grateful for how cheap I was already getting the car (which increased $5,000 from the online price). Yes, I took the online bait. Yes, I was tricked and then pressured to take a deal that wasn't a deal from the very beginning. Don't make the same mistake we did.

They were $8000 higher than their closest competitor on a truck deal. Absolutely the worst in the business when it comes to giving you fair trade value on your trade in. This has been consistent with them over many years. Every time I buy a new vehicle I give them a shot and every time I buy somewhere else. Always amazed when I deal with this place that they continue to stay in business.

Sold a complete piece of crap car that has spent more time in the shop than it has on the road. So far the car's service has surpassed the price of the actual car. If you're looking for a car, stay away from their lot.

I tried to trade with Randy Marion of Statesville. Everything went fine until I was sent to the used car manager so he could explain their low appraisal of my trade-in. I guess he considers himself a comedian. He suggested that I take my car home and change it into a Chevrolet and then he would be interested in it. The salesman and sales manager were fine and I can understand when we couldn't agree on a fair figure to trade. I don't think that I deserved to be belittled. I had my checkbook with me and was ready to trade if we could have agreed on a price. I have been buying from this Chevy location for 40 years (even before Randy Marion had a dealership}. I will purchase elsewhere and recommend that others do the same. There are plenty of other places for me to spend my money.
