I purchased my 2014 Dodge Challenger from Adam Delk and I am so happy. The car is awesome and his low sales pitch was the reason I chose Ilderton. I received an awesome finance package as well as warranty. Adam didn't just sell a car that day, he made a good friend. I plan to tell everyone about my car (Naturally), the deal I received, all about the dealership and to go visit my new friend Adam for a great deal.

Not happy with Ilderton. I had emailed Don several times concerning a Jeep Liberty (stock #12653P) I saw on cars.com. I gave him the information on my trade in, including the serial number. I asked for an approximate trade difference. I live over 4 hours from High Point and didn't want to drive that far if there was no chance of me getting the trade in I needed. He quoted me $9500 difference. I told him I needed to be around $6500 difference to make the trip. He said he knew they could do $9000 out the door but if I was there in person he was sure they could do better. He said it was near the end of the month and they needed to meet their quota. I told him I could come down on Saturday, Nov. 30th. He said he would be working. I called the dealership about 3:40 pm on Friday, Nov. 29th to make sure they still had the jeep for sale. Don wasn't working but I gave a man that answered the phone for him the stock number of the jeep. He checked and said they still had it. I told him I had over a 4 hour drive. He requested that I give him my cell phone number so they could call me if they sold it before I got there. I normally don't give out my cell phone number but it made sense to save me a trip. He even said if I had driven an hour and they had sold it when they called I could turn around and not drive the whole distance. I was really pleased that they thought so much to do this. I received an email from Don at 10:11 am saying,"Good mourning Jerry, Hope to see you today" My wife and I got to the dealership about 10:15 am Saturday. When we arrived we met Robert. He introduced us to Don and Don asked Robert to take care of us. We went out to the jeep for a test drive. When I started it I immediately noticed that it was not the jeep I had given them the stock number to. The one I was lookig at had 30,000+ miles on it and this one had 35,000+ miles on it. Robert said that he had sold the one I was looking at Friday evening. I told him they were supposed to call me and he said he was sorry they had forgot. I went ahead and test drove the jeep. I liked it except for the additional miles. They worked up a deal for me. It was $9800 difference, $800 more than I was told for the jeep with less miles. I told them I was upset because they hadn't called me and saved me a 4 hour drive and raised the price I was told. Before leaving I offered them $7500 difference out the door, but they refused the offer. I feel I was misled to get me to come to the dealership. It seemed they thought that since I had driven 4 hours they could talk me into trading for a different vehicle at a higher price. This is not a good way to run a business that is "Family owned and opeated for 87 years."
