This is the first time I didn't feel uncomfortable dealing with the acquisition of a new vehicle, Why? Walter Brown, the sales person, was just the nicest dealer rep I've ever met. With lots of patience due to our many requests, he showed my wife and me five (5) cars before she was almost convinced. At the end, John Tripp, the sales manager, knowing that we were exhausted, approached us with THE BEST DEAL IN OUR LIVES that we couldn't reject and instead of leaving PHIL SMITH KIA with our hands empty, we left the place with a MUCH BETTER (TOP OF THE LINE) 2017 KIA SPORTAGE THAT IS AMAZING. Overall, a successful experience. When we got to Phil Smith Kia, we were a little put off by the construction going on, but we got into the dealership and told them what we were looking for. We had a quote on a specific car, but when it was brought up, we found that it didn't have all the options we were looking for. Although our original salesman was a little too "hands off" for our taste, once we told management that there was a problem, they immediately rectified it by sending over the customer service manager, John Tripp and then putting us with another salesman who finished the deal for us. They were very responsive, especially John, to our concerns about putting a trailer hitch and mobility lift on the vehicle. Petry, the finance manager was very helpful in explaining our further options with the car and at no point made us feel forced into anything or "stupid" for not taking advantage of offers, as I have experienced in other dealerships.
