It's never too enjoyable shopping for the next car. All the pressure from the sales person to look at this or that but not at Lakeway Auto. No pressure, no hassle, period. Anthony was there to help when we needed him, but didn't pressure us to buy or twist our arm for the sale. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to Anthony Atkins for his honesty, personal attention and follow-up on our quest for a white Lexus RX350. After many months of searching for the right car and price, we called Lakeway Auto and Anthony answered our telephone call. Although the Lexus that we were calling about had been sold, Anthony took our information and said that he would call us when another one with the features we wanted arrived. Even before we met Anthony in person, we were already impressed during our telephone call with his professionalism and friendliness! Within three days, Anthony called us to say that another white Lexus had arrived…he actually called us before the car was even unloaded from the hauler. We purchased the Lexus that day. Who Helped Me:Wes....an obviously very good mechanic who took good care of me. HIS work was fine.
I felt like Anthony was very pleasant and worked diligently to help us find the vehicle that most completely met the needs we had defined for ourselves. As a disappointment, it was clear the vehicle had not been gone over by the detailers/shop prior to it being offered for sale. I had to make an additional trip to your store after the sale to get the rear brakes replaced. The front set was replaced while I waited to take delivery. The rear brake problems were not detected until I was driving home after the purchase. Wes in the shop could have easily had all this done if the car had been presented to him so that when I showed up as a buyer, there were no brake issues and none of my time would have been wasted with a second trip up there. Somebody dropped the ball. There was a not-easily-noticed broken chrome piece on the driver's door that my wife found when I got home with the vehicle. That will cost me between ~$150 to have replaced at the dealer here in Greeneville. This is another item either intentionally or purposefully overlooked......perhaps I should have seen it myself, but I should not have had to deal with it. One last thing, the driver side wiper blade was defective, so I just went ahead and replaced both blades with top of the line Rainex. This is another indicator the vehicle was not inspected. Clearly, elements of the dealership other than sales and the shop screwed up on this one. As for the price, Anthony had spent a lot of time on this, so I never checked it or haggled......felt he'd earned his money. Others there did not earn theirs on this one.

They had the truck out front ready for us to look at and test drive and we were able to negotiate a sales price and trade in easily and fairly.
