Mike Davenport was the salesman who handled the transaction. He was courteous, helpful and very knowledgeable of his product. Rare that a salesman really knows the product as well as he did. He was not pushy but efficient. Very pleasant experience.

Bottom line: Awesome customer experience in dealing with Bachman Chevrolet and Mike Davenport. Mike's professionalism, integrity, and knowledge clearly shine through and make you comfortable from the get go. Never steered me into any particular vehicle or applied any type of pressure to purchase. Also, extremely knowledgeable on the actual vehicle as opposed to repeating standard talking points. Answered all my questions and provided the "so what" of why it was important in terms of the vehicle's capability and/or options. I will definitely recommend and purchase from him in the future. My wife and I bought a pre-owned Volt today and were ecstatic about our experience. Our salesman, Mike Davenport, is like Wikipedia when it comes to cars, answering every question we had, and then some. We test drove our car twice over two days and he never pressured us to buy; instead, Mike encouraged us to take our time and really seemed to have our interests at heart. Unlike other salespeople, who only scribbled prices on paper and wouldn't even let us take their doodle-quotes home, Mike put together a packet with pricing, CarFax, his contact info and a welcome letter. And who else puts a sticker with their personal cell number inside the door frame and tells you to call if you have problems? (Yes, the sticker is in an inconspicuous place – next to that barcode sticker inside the door.) He even put a glass bottle of Coke in the cup holder for us! Steve Turner in Finance deserves praise, too. He was very knowledgeable, friendly, and actually made it fun to fill out paperwork. We felt like we were in good hands, and talking with Steve really took the stress out of making a big purchase. Plus, he seems supportive of the Bachman team; I got the vibe that he likes the sales packets Mike puts together for his customers. And we love our car. The Bachman team found a great deal that fit our budget – I had no idea a pre-owned Volt would be so affordable. It's like driving a spaceship and makes our Prius, which we used to think was cool, um, less cool.

I would like to think Mike Davenport for doing a excellent job in helping me buy my new Chevy Silverado. I'm not going to lie and say I did not price trucks elsewhere before I gave Mike a call. It seems that other dealerships don't want to tell you up front the incentives that are included in purchasing a new vehicle. I wonder what they are hiding this information for? Mike Davenport was upfront with all the incentives. About three years ago we purchased a Buick Enclave from Mike, he helped us then and that was one of the reasons we chose to purchase another vehicle from him. I would suggest anyone wanting to buy a new or used vehicle to contact Mike Davenport, he is really the Louisville Chevy Dude. -Randall Caulk, Campbellsville Kentucky.
