Bottom line: I'm out almost $18,000, have no title, and a vehicle that has been deemed not "road safe." During my dealing with Fairway Ford,they've acted unprofessionally. unethically, dishonestly, and in bad faith. There are too many problems with the transaction and the vehicle to list here, but let it be known that even though I paid them in cash on November 5, 2015, I still do not have title to the vehicle. I've already filed a complaint with the State of Illinois Attorney General and will post updates as I receive them. If you would like to know specifics, please let me know. I will happily share my experience if it helps someone else avoid making the same mistake I made. If any attorneys read this and care to help, please contact me.

Thank you Will for your feedback and I am sorry for all of your life troubles since your flood. I appreciate the opportunity you gave us to help with your vehicle problem. Our Ford Certified technician had the opportunity to speak with your mechanic and found that their concerns were not valid. We believe that the real problem was that your mechanic was not use to seeing a vehicle from northern Illinois and perceived that frame surface rust meant that the complete vehicle was no good. This vehicle is a 2006 Suburban with around 30,000 miles on it, but it is from Illinois and has been on the road for ten years. Our mechanics here inspected the vehicle and the vehicle is in safe mechanical condition, as well as incredible cosmetic condition. The local Chevy store inspected the vehicle it her in Illinois and had the same mechanical and cosmetic opinion of the vehicle as well. We represented the vehicle exactly as we perceived it to be. This vehicle has considerably less underbody rust on it that nay other 2006 vehicle we have seen in this area. I did offer some financial support if the vehicle did actually have something wrong with it, but after our mechanics talked to the mechanics in South Carolina we could not determine something actually wrong with the vehicle except some surface rust underneath the vehicle. At first I thought that I had had a wonderful experience at Fairway Ford. Unfortunately, that quickly changed. I was given a title that my state's DMV would not accept because it had been altered. I called to have this taken care of and am still waiting for a replacement title. My extension on my transfer will expire tomorrow and still no valid title in-hand. It doesn't seem fair that I will have to be paying fines for a mistake I did not make! I told my salesperson that I wanted to stay under a 60 month term on my loan. After getting home, I realized that the finance manager stretched it over a year longer in order to sign me up for extra vehicle insurance (extra cost of course) and keep me at a price I could afford. Sneaky. I am also still waiting on a second key I was promised weeks ago. My vehicle did not come with any floor mats & when brought to the dealship's attention before I left, none were offered. Highly disappointed in this shady business!!!

The sales person we dealt with in the past was off so Adam and Phil helped my wife and I with the purchase of our new Lincoln Excursion. We were very specific on the color of the interior and exterior. Phil found one in Sheboygan,Wi. and had it picked up. Adam made sure we were happy with the price and trade and all went very smooth. This is our sixth car we have bought from Fairway and that should speak volumes on the service we get from not only the sales department but the service department is the best. I wouldn't take my car any place else.. I also want to thank Ford for the zero per cent loans, that saves us a lot of money. M.Doug Hoormann
