Bought my 1st "Certified" used car here, a 1 year old Toyota Sienna, and it will be my last transaction here. I've purchased & leased dozens of vehicles...this is by far the most disappointing. First mistake was not cautiously & carefully test driving & examining the car before purchase, on the assumption any defects would be fixed. Soon discovered "Certified" meant little if anything for me. Wouldn't you assume a "Certified" vehicle would come with all the original factory equipment? Not with these guys. Floor mats, a regular remote & rear entertainment center remote were among the missing. Also numerous plastic retaining clips for the front bumper cover, air dam & & pan under engine compartment. They wouldn't even compromise on pricing missing parts...full list price, take it or leave it. Wouldn't you think a "Certified" car would be carefully detailed? Not here apparently. The roof & rear hatch glass of this minivan were speckled with hundreds of droplets of tar or some other durable substance still there years later, A problem with poor, hesitant acceleration at low RPM's was chronic & consistent from the git go & continued till the day it died. Eventually gave up on Ackerman mechanics even acknowledging the problem. Would you assume that "Certified" means no prior significant body work. I always suspected the vehicle was damaged in a wreck &/or flood due to niggling intermittent electronic.issues A recent accident revealed that the front bumper & windshield had been replaced, plus body shop overspray was evident underneath the body. Wouldn't you think the general manager of a Toyota dealership would be eager to discuss & investigate those discoveries? Not here. Whats-his-name was immediately hostile & disinterested in my query. I had been a loyal Toyota owner for decades but this dealership experience made me question that loyalty. I looked at other brands this time, and ended up with a top-of-the-line Honda Odyssey. Glad I did. Consumer Reports got it right. The Honda is a superior vehicle to start with and Honda dealer service has been vastly superior, so far. So, if you're looking to dispel the slimy, dishonest car dealer stereotype, I recommend going somewhere other than Ackerman.

Bought a 2014 Toyota Camry. I had been looking for a car for over a month and wasn't satisfied with the service/price provided by any of the dealers. One of my friends recently bought a car from Ackerman and I happened to go with him to pick his car. I inquired about a new Camry and Ray was happy to assist me. The quote he offered was very much near to what I was looking to pay. Took a test drive and I decided to buy the car. The service was thorough, professional and hassle free. Ray/Dave did not try to up-sell anything I did not want, I was impressed by that. One of the best dealers in town and I had a wonderful experience. Thanks guys!

From beginning to end this purchase was a positive one. My 23 year old daughter purchased her first car, a used 2009 Toyota Corolla. Not only did they find an appropriate, reliable car for her but made the experience completely seamless. HORRIBLE customer service. I would never recommend anyone to visit Ackerman Toyota if they want to be treated with respect and fairness. They were completely rude. They double-deal customers and sold a car right out from under me even though I had a deposit on the car and was in the middle of a deal. No communication or honesty.
