Being a car guy I become aware when something pops out from the boring, generic cars produced today. In 2012 I tried to purchase a Genesis coupe . I walked away in dis-belief that there was a non-negotiation price . Three years later I was very skeptical. Our salesman was very friendly and easy to work with . We do use the process of (sleeping on it) before making our decision. He assured us that he would be transparent and work a deal to our satisfaction . We returned two days later and purchased the car.

*****BUYERS BEWARE!!! Make sure you pull on ALL bumpers and push on ALL the lights before committing to a vehicle***** We did not do this with our VERY recent purchase and only discovered that clips were broken AFTER we left the dealership and NOW we are being told it's our responsibility to fix and they WON'T do anything for us. I was told by Matt, the service department manager, that any problem would have been found upon inspection. I asked if they performed the inspection after every test drive to ensure that everything still passed and he told me no. Matt, and the general manager, Bob, leave everything to be desired and because of them we will no longer be purchasing vehicles from this location... Which is sad, because Dave Burris is an excellent salesman, and we did look forward to dealing with him more in the future. Also, Ami is the service department is very thorough, she believed us when we told her there was an issue with the car squealing, she took it back in when Matt had brushed it off as nothing and discovered that a part was going bad. She ordered the part and said she would call when it was in and ready to be put on. They are the only reason I'm leaving a star at all and they're performance is not reflected below... Below is the direct reflection of the Management department.

After a wonderful experience buying my used vehicle at Shawnee Mission Hyundai, I was relieved to have somewhere to turn when I ran into my first issue just a couple months later — a flat tire. However, after being told the tire was unrepairable, the SMH team told me over the phone that my only option would be to purchase 4 brand new tires for the vehicle. It sounded sketchy that my quick $30 tire fix was turning into an $800+ full replacement, so I opted not to — and thankfully so! When I picked up the vehicle, the technician's report simply recommend that I purchase a single new tire to replace the one that had been damaged. This was infuriating given that at least two separate associates "confirmed with the technician" to tell me that I needed 4 new tires. As a very capable independent woman, I'm disgusted by this behavior and attempt to take advantage of a returning customer. I expected much, much more after my purchase experience, but clearly the service center cannot be held to that same standard. I will not be back.

I have purchased two cars from this dealership and both have been a great sales experience. Everyone is very professional and friendly. No sleazy negotiations, just a great experience. Salomon Williams is definitely one of the best car salesman I've every dealt with. He knows his product, is very professional and always customer service oriented.
