I recently purchased a 2014 corolla. After 10,000 miles, the paint was chipping away. When I brought this to their attention, I was told that my "Bumper to Bumper" did not cover any trauma to the vehicle. I pointed out that there was no trauma to the vehicle, and if there was, I would have filed a claim with my insurance company. Not long after leaving, Gary Gatliff, service dept manager, called me back and apologized for my experience and insisted on helping me. Gary was very helpful and solved my issue with great care. Its employees like Gary that ensure the future for Jim Norton Toyota.

I bought my Rav 4 in September 2013. There were a couple problems, nothing major. The alignment being one, they repaired it. I complained about the outside temp not working and nothing was done nor did they write down that I asked them to look at it. Shortly after I got a recall notice on the rear suspension arm. I took it in and asked again about the temp, since I was already there for the suspension. Again nothing on the temp and they said the rear suspension was replaced. Approximately 3 months later, I was picking my son up at school and I was on a hill when my car started to roll back as I took my foot off the gas. It's an automatic so that should not happen. I called the dealer ship and was told that it is normal and all the Rav 4 on the lot did the same. Funny, it never had that problem before. So after being talked to like I was child that had no clue what I was talking about, I gave up. A couple months later I got another recall notice, I called the service department and took it in to be replaced. At this time they informed me my rear suspension had a bandaid fix prior, due to the staff needing to be trained and they would call me to have the work done when the training was done. I was irate. I had been lied to more then once and they tried to make me look like an idiot. They never called and I had to call to see if they had been trained. Once I took it back months later it was finally fixed, and its a miracle my car doesn't roll. I asked again about the temp gage... Nothing, not documented, not looked at... Nothing. I made an appointment after 2 years strictly for a light and the temp gage. I was informed the light gage wires had been eaten by rats and it would be over $200 to fix. Bull! This was a problem since I bought the car. I was treated like crap on the phone, the service manager was Extremely arrogant and rude. I looked at the old service records and it states the previous owner had rats eat all the wires under the seat, so clearly they had the rat problem. Yet nothing taken care of. I would have been willing to pay, had they been willing to admit it should have been Taken care of prior to my purchase of the car. This business and Rude service manager definitely will not get my business ever again.

I recently came in to trade my Durango in for something less expensive. I owed nothing on my car, and basically needed something with 4 wheels and an engine to get me around, and some cash back to cover some expenses that came up. They came through when everybody else wouldn't. I appreciate the manner in which everything was handled, and the whole process from start to finish was pretty fast.

I will NEVER give them another chance. they lied to me and lied to the lender. the documents that got me financed for a purchase i never wanted were fraudulent --if i hadn't been sick and dealing with a sick child it never wouldve happened. this dealership is HORRIBLE and will always change up the numbers and papers on you--convincing you that you are already stuck in a deal or it is entirely different from what the end result is. Stay away!!!

I have to say I was not at all impressed by the customer care at Jim Norton Toyota. Although not all of the employees were disappointing those who dealt with my husband and I were. My trip to this dealership as a woman I felt I was belittled and talked down to. I felt the sales associate who dealt with us was rude and completely wasted our time. We went to Jim Norton because we have heard nothing but great things but we wasted three weeks of our time and were given the run around constantly. Im sure other sales associates could have handled us better or maybe not but I can say my husband and I wasted our time, took our money and walked away.
