I purchased a new Rav4 from Toyota of Longview. Pirom was the salesman. He was friendly, had good product knowledge, and matched me with the vehicle that met my needs. After settling on a price that matched the "big" dealerships in the Metroplex, we finished the deal. Best of all, the finance manager did not try to cram an extended warranty plan down my throat, we said we did not need it, and he dismissed the subject and finished the deal. I will likely purchase my next vehicle at this dealership!

A couple of days ago, I brought my car in to have the tires looked at. I had to go out of town for work and was worried. Greg, in the Service Department fit me in even though my request was relatively low in importance to the others that were already there needing assistance. He took me in, had the "guys" check my tires and I left assured that my tires were in great shape. THEY WERE until I headed down the road to Louisiana and the highway department left a mess in the middle of 20 that was unavoidable. I had a blow out. I was incensed! Why it had to be Toyota's fault! I called and fussed at everyone I could. Fernando was an angel 'cause I pretty much blamed him (Greg was helping someone else…and I was in a "ME" mode) Stewart reassured me that they would take care of it. I hung up to wait for the AAA tow truck.. another 75 minutes.. because I need to learn how to change my own tire… once everything was taken care of and I calmed down, I was fine. The next day - I drove in and bought 2 new tires from Stewart. I had bad tires to begin with (Firestone) but I never changed them until now. I apologized and was SO thankful to have this team of angels there to put up with me.. never ONCE judging me to my face. (certainly, I would have talked behind my back!) You can't beat these guys. They know what you need AND they babysit. Kudos to Toyota's Service Department!!

Today I had my first service appointment at Toyota of Longview. Greg was the service consultant who met me at the service bay. He was very friendly and eager to serve. I was checked in efficiently and directed to the customer waiting lounge. Soon there was a nice young lady who came by to make sure those of us waiting knew there was fresh coffee and water around the corner. After the work was completed within the estimated time I had been given, I proceeded to the cashier for payment. As with the other employees I had encountered, she, too, was friendly and welcoming. They say that first impressions are lasting, and I believe they are. Therefore, I'm looking forward to the many future visits to my new Toyota home!

I went in a few months ago to have studs replaced on my car.At the finish of my service I believed to have been satisfied later to find out the guys working in the service center put the wrong lugnuts on my car and as I was driving some of them fell off . Thank goodness I was in Marshall at the time and took my car to the Toyota dealership there.After inspecting my car I was told by Toyota of Marshall that whoever put those lugnuts on my car didn't put the right ones on and it caused my studs to be stripped. He also said that had I been going at a high rate of speed my tires could've come off . This frightened me because I do pediatric home health and I as well as my patient could have been hurt or killed. After replacing all of my studs and lugnuts I left paying almost $400.I was instructed by Toyota of Marshall to contact Toyota of Marshall and let them know what happened because they should be responsible for this.Mind you I had already spent almost $200 with Toyota of Longview. Toyota of Longview also broke off my tire lock to my spare in my trunk.I called Toyota of Longview the same day and spoke with John Hall who immediately got very defensive and nasty when I explained to him the situation so I hung up and called the corporate office.As they were going through Toyota of Longview's system they told me my information had been deleted out of there system and it looked like I had not had service with them since 2012..Nothing has ever gotten resolved and I will never take my car there for service nor will I consider purchasing a car there which is sad because my entire family owns Toyotas or Lexus.I feel they overcharge and are very dishonest.I have never had any issues with Toyota of Marshall's service or pricing. I had called Toyota of Longview in the past for a price check on a tune up for my car and they quoted me $500-600 when Toyota of Marshall did it for $250..I let God be my refuge..Lesson Learned.

We've bought our last eight vehicles from Toyota of Longview and we just don't want to buy vehicles anywhere else. Lori Griffith is just so full of enthusiasm and energy and she won't lie about anything. She knows the vehicles and always has answers to our questions. She's always thrilled to answer questions about the vehicles we've bought, even after we've closed the deal and have driven them off the lot. We thought, "Wow, she's really nice. We want to go out and have coffee and pie with her sometime." I guess it's the cozy feeling we get when we know we're getting the up-and-up on our vehicle selections. We thought maybe running into such a nice salesperson was a fluke, but then we worked with David Leggett in Financing and we were impressed yet again. He really knows his stuff and he got us all set up with the kind of monthly payments we were looking for. Call it genetics, but he also has the most interesting tonal quality to his voice. I think I'd enjoy hearing him read the phone book out loud. Having bought so many vehicles, we've always been impressed with Fernando in the Service Department. He always gets our maintenance orders right and he responds to any questions and concerns. If Toyota made tricycles, we'd buy it from Lori Griffith, finance it with David Leggett, and ask Fernando to make sure its wheels get oiled. I wish I could find the words say more nice things, but if I said anymore, I'd have to make it up.
