I'm in my 60's. I've purchased more than a dozen cars. Most of those purchases have been from dealerships. I could count the number of those experiences that could be characterized as "not unpleasant" on one hand that was missing most of its fingers. One of those was at a dealer that was owned by a friend of mine. The other was my recent purchase of a 2015 Subaru Forester XT from Tucson Subaru. The vast majority of car dealers leave their customers feeling like they've been beaten up by the car buying experience. This was how I felt after dealing with a Tucson Mazda dealer a few days before purchasing my Subaru. The other dealer's staff projected an image of wanting to squeeze as much money out of me as they possibly could. They offered me far less than a fair price for my trade-in. Even though I had used the Costco Buyers Program (highly recommended) to obtain assured pricing, the Mazda store kept trying to add additional costs. The methods they used in providing the prices they offered me were far from transparent. The sales people I dealt with knew far less about the car I was interested in than I did. The experience at Tucson Subaru was the exact opposite. CJ Nichols, Tim Hanson, and everyone else I encountered seemed genuinely interested in making sure I was happy with the deal they were offering and the buying experience at their store. CJ Nichols offered comprehensive knowledge of the car I was interested in. I'm a "car guy" so I did my homework and I thought I knew a lot about the Forester XT. CJ knew much more, and he was always ready to demonstrate his knowledge. When the deal was done and the car was being delivered, he even helped program some of the Forester's hands-free features so I could use them right away. As we were leaving he presented my wife with a dozen beautiful red roses. Nice touch! I will have no hesitation about strongly recommending Tucson Subaru to anyone I know who is looking for a vehicle. They are truly a class act in a business where most dealerships can be rated by what I call their Slimeball Factor.

I have never purchased a used car from a dealer before, and am generally leery of pressure sales tactics. Rudy Burneo was informative, responsive, helpful and never pushy. He had great patience with letting my 18 yr old son do the test drive (the car is for him), even though he stalled it (manual transmission) once. Rudy always answered my calls, or returned a call promptly if unavailable. When I called once needing to get a message to the finance person (who was unavailable), Rudy acted as my willing go-between, making sure the message got through. I also appreciated working with Curt, in finance, he was quick to help me resolve a problem even though trying to get ready to leave for vacation. When I purchase my next new car, I will definitely consider Subaru, and will ask for Rudy!

i just purchased my 4th subaru, my third from this dealter. I have dealt with the same sales person all three times (jack mcvey) over the last 10 years and always deal with hm. jack is the most patient and no pressure sales person i have worked with, answering all of our questions and concerns. Traci has a large personality and has a great sense of humor, going out of her way to be helpful in the process. I cannot say enough about the products and this dealership. if you are thinking about a subaru, make sure you go to this dealer and ask for Jack.

Worked with Steve Norris in sales and he helped me find an excellent Subaru Impreza that I loved. He was really friendly and easy to work with. I can be a little picky but he was really patient and showed me many options before I decided on my choice. I then worked with Tim Hanson from finance and he was just awesome. He explained all the paperwork and answered all of my questions. I would recommend anyone looking for Subaru to work with Tucson subaru and to work with Steve and Tim specifically.

I had inherited a car a couple of years ago that was not a fit for my lifestyle and I took a long time to decide what I wanted for a new car. Once I decided on the Forester I spoke with Rudy. He was very kind and considerate, not pushy at all, and very interested in making sure I received the vehicle that would suit my backpacking and sporty lifestyle. He was very patient - as I am slow to make major decisions. When the time was right, he put it all together for me and I now have a vehicle that is perfect for my lifestyle. I highly recommend Rudy as he is quite interested in making sure the customer is happy with their purchase. Plus, he is fun to work with! Nice guy. Curt was also sweet and efficient on the financial end, very nice to work with.
