I bought my car about a year ago and went through an amazing dealer named Izzy! He was so nice and had a great personality! He made my husband and I feel very comfortable! We don't have very good credit at all but he got me in a 2014 Kia forte and really tried whatever he could do to get us the car we fell in love with! Still till this day he personally called me on my birthday to wish me a happy birthday and just last week called us to wish my husband and I a happy holiday! I appreciate him so much! The service department is also amazing! They are all so nice and always greeting us with a smile on their face! The facility is also so clean and bright! It's just an all around nice place and I would recommend anyone who is in search of a Kia to them!!

Holy cow!! I just had THE BEST experience at Performance Kia! I wish there was some secret DealerRater handshake or password that would somehow let you give to 10 stars to a really great businesses that deserves it, but since my Google search for “Secret DealerRater Handshake” came up with absolutely nothing I’ll just settle with giving Performance Kia 5 stars and then tell you why they really do deserve 10. So here’s my big idea; I think that buying a car should be a positive experience (dare I say fun? Why, yes I do dare!). I like cars, lots of people do, so why can’t the day you get to take a new one home be an awesome day? It turns out that my big idea wasn’t my idea after all, it was Performance Kia’s. Buying a car from them is positive, informative and…wait for it…..fun! How do I know this? Because I just did it! (Ok, so I’ve don’t it 5 times with them…but my most recent was just this week) Making the car purchase process enjoyable can’t be easy for them to do. Buying a car is a big decision and not one to be taken lightly. But their staff is professional, knowledgeable, and what I think is the most important, (and severely lacking in so many other dealerships) considerate. They are considerate of what you want, considerate of your budget and considerate of your time (round of applause, please!) And while they are considerate of your time they are very generous with theirs! Want to test drive 4 different models in 3 different shades of blue, grey and dark cherry? They are glad to accommodate! (I know this as I have done it before.) And when you do finally decide on your model they are just as helpful with the financing. When everything is explained in full detail there are no surprises, just confidence in your decision. They make a point to know they’re stuff and they help to make sure you know it too. I am so lucky to have had the opportunity to work with Carlton and Sebastian this week. Sebastian even had extensive training on my particular car model. Not only did he know his stuff but he was excited about it too which made it fun for me as I was just as excited! He made sure I knew my car when I drove off and even put in a follow up call the next day to see if I had any questions. Impressive customer service before, during and after. So here’s another one of my big ideas; I don’t think that you have to spend $120k to get a REALLY nice car. I don’t think that you even have to spend $40k to get a nice car. I appreciate the finer things but I also appreciate my hard earned money. While I value quality, I put very little value in a simple brand name or logo…I won’t name names (BMW, Mercedes, Audi, Lexus….). So my big idea is that you should be able to get a super fancy car with all the bells (v8 engine), whistles (a 17 speaker Lexicon stereo), over the top quality (door to door nappa leather), comfort (power reclining rear seats) and safety (it is very) without having to break your bank in half. Once again my big idea wasn’t really mine, it was Kia’s! My first Kia was a Sorento and I loved it! I was amazed at just how nice a car that was saving me hundreds of dollars a month could be. I enjoyed driving my Sorento every day that I had it. But then Kia came out with the K900. Luxury sedan anyone?? I had to try it and once I did, I had to have it! It has everything without costing everything. In the end, I can’t say enough about the experiences I’ve had while working with Performance Kia and I can’t say enough about the Kia cars that I’ve owned. It is possible to demand excellent customer service when buying a car. It is possible to get the best quality for not the most money. You CAN have it all, you just have to go to Performance Kia to get it. What a great idea!

Carlton, Ami by Carlton that their emailed acceptance of my offer on a used Soul was a mistake (after confirming the price with Ami via phone conversation prior to driving over 45 mins to the dealership). Carlton stated that he would honor the price they had repeatedly agreed to, but because they were now losing money on the deal, Carlton pushed for us paying the negotiable documentary fees + over $300 in other added fees. When pushed, he said that he would remove the negotiable documentary fees but when he brought the quote back to the table, he had not removed it. When this type of thing was pointed out to him, he would get irritated and say, "Let me finish". He was rude and overbearing to my mother, who was just trying to understand the quote. He refused to remove the negotiable documentary fee and told us that he'd have to bid us goodnight rather than follow through on his agreement to remove it. We felt played, lied to, manipulated and insulted upon leaving (without the promised deal). Really bad experience...
