I had been looking for a new car off and on for awhile and kept getting turned down everywhere I went and no one seemed to work very hard to try to get me in a car. So on Febuary 16, 2016 I decided to go to Chevorlet of Puyallup Harnish and I walked in and didnt expect to get a car. But I met with Mark in finace and he got all my info and started to talk with lenders. After a hour or two he came out and had me come in his office and said everyone said no but one bank is wanting to talk to him more about it. Then Christy C. and Mark started working together to find me a car and get a good price. They worked very hard and long to get me in my new 2016 Salsa Chevy Spark. Once the bank said yes they had me start my paperwork. I felt very important to them cuase they spent the whole day working together to get me into a new car. If it wasnt for Chirsty and Marks hard work I wouldnt have my new car. I cant thank them enough for everything they have done for me. When Mark told me that the one bank said yes I almost cried. I will never go anywhere else for a car and I will never work with any other finace people! I am over the moon about my new car and surprised they worked so hard to get me a better car. THANK YOU SO MUCH CHRISTY AND MARK!!!

Buick was running a $190 down, $190 lease special on encore. I filled out the online contract sheet-compete with detailed memo. Amanda called me not reading anything but name& number. She didn't know what I wanted, what I had, nothing.after I had to retell her all the details, she said she would call me back. Only after I filled out a feedback email did she call me- two days later. Two more days, two more phone calls we got to her bottom line. $1600 down and $400 per month, "but if you come down here we can probably fudge the numbers and do better". If you fudge numbers you have character issues. I want the advertised deal, not 8 times the down payment and double the monthly payment. No thanx. Avoid!

Not once did I feel like they cared!! Dropped Yukon off at 10:00am on a Friday for oil and brake job. 4 hours later got a call that they found one bad motor mount, several serp. belts cracked and a slow leak in tranny coolant line. Because I'm leaving for vacation I told them to go ahead with repairs. Toward the end of the day, I hadn't received any update so I HAD TO CALL. Was told that they wouldn't have time to complete so they'll be able to work on it TUESDAY! (Granted Saturday was a Holiday and Monday that group of tech's were off). I asked if they could provide a courtesy car since it would be 4 days before I could pick up. Flat out "No, we don't offer that". Asked what I was to do? Told to either bring it back Tuesday morning or leave with them. They did offer free shuttle service but when I told them my work was roughly 45 miles away (Live in Tacoma, work in Seattle) I was told that they probably wouldn't drive that far. Tuesday, mid afternoon came and still no word from Dealer. I called for update and was told my service advisor would call me back in a little bit (45 minutes later, still no word, and I now am missing my daughters first dance recital!!!!! Proud daddy moment gone!! Called a second time and was told they would call back in a few minutes. 10 minutes later the advisor called and said they were getting close to completing but may not finish it until the next day. Told them absolutely not, this is not an option. I had family drop me off at dealership to wait another 60+min at which point they finally finished all the work. I was able to squeeze only 10% off of bill (I HAD TO ASK). Paid bill, got in car and grease was all over leather on center console. Went back into service dept. and requested rag to wipe down console. Lot boy followed me out and I showed him. His reesponse, "Unfortunately the service tech who was working on your car is one of the messiest"...... Really?? That's your answer????? Please don't take your vehicle here and risk the same experience!!! After this fiasco I'll be crossing fingers that South Tacoma GM will be better. I'll be sure to let all my Chevy forums hear about his too! Bryan

I purchased my vehicle from this location in 2011 along with an extended warranty recommended and sold to me by the dealership. Over the nearly four years my car was under warranty I had it in for repairs complaining that the transmission was not shifting correctly multiple times. All but one time I was told they could not duplicate the concern. There was one time while still under warranty that the tech told me "During the drive I can feel that it is not shifting as expected but without an error code there is nothing I can do." The car was in with this complaint one last time on 11/7/14 and we were told once again that there was no problem. The team at the service center was very aware of my warranty expiration in less than 200 miles at that time as I made that concern a priority. On 12/3/14 we were 700 miles out of warranty and less than a month from the last time we reported the issue. The car started acting up once again. We took the car in again hoping that since it had been less than a month since the last complaint they would be willing to work with us. Instantly they found the issue. The transmission control module was faulty and this would cost me $1,240. When I expressed my concerns just as mentioned above, Louanne at the Service desk recommended that I call GM at 1-800-222-1020. I was connected with a claims manager by the name of Stephanie who instantly opened my claim stating that if a judgment for reimbursement was made it would not be affected by the status of the repairs. As the claim was opened I called the service center and asked them to complete the repairs. They called the same day to inform me that the repairs were complete. I picked up and paid for the repairs the next day. After 5 business days had past since our conversation I called Stephanie back to find out that the service center falsely reported that I declined the repairs. I explained this was not true and she re-opened the case. Stephanie called me after another day or two to tell me that the service center was now claiming that the repairs were covered and charged to warranty. I explained to Stephanie once again that his was also untrue. After three more business days past, I got another call from Stephanie stating that the Service Center was unwilling to reimburse any of the charges. This was due to the fact that they were never able to reproduce the problem on previous reports and no error code was present. I asked Stephanie if there was a higher level of authority I could speak to about this matter and was told that there was not and I was speaking to the "highest level of customer service available." The Service techs at this GM location service center are seemingly either uneducated to perform the services/repairs of their own vehicles or are unauthorized to think for themselves. Due to the inferior abilities of this service center, we have paid the penalty of $1,240.
