Yesterday I pulled in the service center because the remote would not open my trunk. There is no key hole on the trunk, but I could still open it with the lever by the driver' seat. A very friendly lady came out to help me after about 5 minutes. She tried to open with the remote and said they would need to put the car thru an electronic check for $67.00, which would be applied towards repair. I questioned the fact that the remote would still lock/unlock the doors. This lead her to be go inside for assistance. Meanwhile a friendly male came out to ask if I had been helped and I said Yes, but the person helping me went to get help. I got back in my car and they approached me to open the trunk which I did. They all 3 looked in my trunk and there answer was the electronic check mentioned above. I said not today and left. Today I looked at the opened trunk. Right at eye level was a plug that resembled a large phone truck which was UNPLUGGED. I plugged it in and the remote starting working. I don't necessarily think that the employees were trying to scam me. I just think one of the 3 should have noticed that plug. I wasn't in my trunk or stooped down, STRAIGHT eye level. I hqve no faith in this service center.

Our technicians are trained by the manufacturer specifically to work on vehicles such as yours and that is why we leave any diagnosis that appears to be electrical related up to them.
