I was in a paying for a car that had a lot of negative equity because the car was not worth what I had paid for it... I tried other dealerships to see if I could trade it in get a new car with a better payment and better fuel economy. The three I went to were horrible, they basically wanted to force me into something I did not want.... I ALMOST gave!... But then I found Tasca Nissan in East Providence, RI... I communicated with Corey (internet sales manager) about my situation and he offered for me to come in to see what they could do... I was hopeful this time! When I got there it felt like a "calm" no pressure dealership. It was clean and I was offered water or coffee as soon as I got in!.. Then I met with Jose Cancel the sales consultant I would be working with. Corey gas already explained my situation to Jose so that saved time! Jose asked me what I may be interested in. At that time I wanted the Nissan Leaf.. so they ran the numbers for me and it was way too much, and I was hesitant to leave as I got resistance in other dealerships for that, but NOT HERE, both Corey and Jose completely understood and stated if I change my mind to come by again... So 2 days later I brought my mom with me as she wanted a new car... Once we arrived we both met with Jose and my mom explained what she wanted and I changed my mind and wanted the Sentra. Jose was great allowed us to test drive, explained all our options lease vs finance and what would be best for us in a very clam, non-pushy approach, which was great. It is nice to be working with someone who is not pushing you into a car but instead working with you to get the best deal for you and that's what Jose does. So needless to say we both both a Nissan Sentra. Financing was quick with Jorge, who worked for me to get the bank to add on my trade in, which was so exciting. After that, Jose stated on Monday (as we bought them on Sat) that he would get registration all set and cars ready. Our insurances have him a problem.... but not to worry Jose made us aware that it may be another day and he really tried to get the insurances to get that Stamp... but on Tuesday once my insurance got back to Jose... he contacted me to let me know my car is all set and I can pick it up at 6pm! I get there at 6pm and there it is on and ready to go.. should have had a bow on it! Jose went over all the features of the car, explained their service department and really did an excellent job! He should be recognized for his superior service! I would recommended anyone wanted to buy a Nissan ask for JOSE CANCEL!!!!!... as he WILL take care of you and not force you into anything you don't want.
