I found the particular used car I had been looking for in Crown Honda’s inventory. I called for information and got Eli on the phone, who answered my questions and was eager for me to come and take it for a test drive. I specifically asked Eli if the car was there, on hand, before I hit the road and he assured me that it was. So I got my family together and we drove the hour and a half from Charlotte only to find that the car was not there and had in fact been sold the day before! We wasted three and a half hours (of a day off) driving to Greensboro from Charlotte for no reason. How incredibly frustrating and disrespectful of our time! I complained to the managers in Eli’s department and they were apologetic and I appreciate that. I went to the sales manager in the main dealership and he was apologetic as well, but in the end tried to sell me a Honda. Really? Nobody cared that they had wasted our time, they just wanted to sell a car. That’s it. I will not ever, do business with Crown Honda.
