After coming from another state to buy a 2015 Tahoe . The dealership employee who changed the grille on the Tahoe scratched and had gashes on my front bumber, driver's side handle and piece below the bumper. I was told by the salesperson to get estimates from my local body shop and dealers to have the damaged fixed. After getting two estimates the damages totaled over $700 dollars. The sales managers of new car sales decided to try to force me to put over 600 miles on my new Tahoe and drive 6 plus hours to get it done at their dealership, I was told them having to pay someone else to do it "cut into their profit" I explained numerous times that because of a medical condition it was impossible to drive back to Houston. Due to the fact that I lived out of state to pay for the damages that one of their employees did on my new vehicle. I thought because I had spent so much money and hoped that they put the needs of their customer first before greed over profit they would agree to having the damages repaired at my local dealer\body shop but the refused. Then after days of going back and forth they agreed to ONLY pay $300 instead of the $700 and didn't care that I would of had to pay the remainder of the cost out of my own pocket ! They damage my new Tahoe and want me to pay ...how's that for being concerned with customer satisfaction!

Like I told Ms. Campbell via phone and e-mail, we sincerely apologize for the nicks and scratches to her front bumper that were caused by our incorrect installation of the new grille that she purchased as part of her 2015 Tahoe purchase from us. As Ms. Campbell stated in her review, we immediately agreed to pay for the repairs to her vehicle, but since Ms. Campbell lives 300 miles away from our dealership in Louisiana (and unfortunately nobody noticed the damage before she left our dealership), we did not have the ability to physically look at the damage and assess potential cost to repair. Since we are depending on body shops located in another state to take care of the repairs needed to Ms. Campbell's Tahoe, we had to make sure that the quotes we received were competitive based on the repairs needed. This of course is not Ms. Campbell's fault, and we were sorry to hear that she took that as us not wanting to help her, as this was not the case at all. We have authorized a local Chevy dealership in Louisiana near where Ms. Campbell lives to make the repairs to her Tahoe, and this dealership will bill Davis Chevrolet directly. We sincerely appreciate Ms. Campbell's business, and we apologize again for the mistake and the inconvenience to her. Matt Davis Owner/General Manager

My Sales Rep was Mr. Melvin Jones who was very cordial and very friendly, he was easy to communicate with. Very knowledgeable in his field. On the other hand he was kind of slow in my opinion in handling my purchase, because I had work going on at my house and family coming in for the holidays. But it worked out for the good, because his slowness help me think about more questions I had to ask, which made my purchase go so smoothly. So if you are looking for someone who will take their time with you , Melvin's your man. P.S. He loves football.

Went in for a 2015 Chevy Volt. Steve was very nice at first over the phone and the test drive until we got to his desk. I had done all my research and knew what all the costs would be based on hundreds of current volt owners and numbers provided directly by Chevy. Steve started bringing in additional fees, charges and prices that were outrageous after we got to his desk. After going back and forth discussing the origin of all these extra costs and numbers that didn't match with advertised prices or chevy's website he brought in his manager to "clarify things". His manager QUICKLY killed off any remaining possibility of closing a deal. He was extremely rude and condescending towards myself and my girlfriend. I absolutely will not purchase a vehicle from this dealership and because of this horrid experience it has left a bad taste in my mouth with Chevy. I will strongly advise any friends or family to stay far away as well. I hope everyone reading this heeds my warning and that of others, stay far far away from Davis Chevrolet. Go absolutely anywhere else!

We were very sorry to hear that Mr. Bukovicky did not have a good experience while visiting our dealership. I spoke to him personally while he was here, and did my absolute best to explain the national Chevy Volt lease offer for October (as it changes monthly), which was a $250 per month lease payment with $5,000 due at signing by the customer. The cash due at signing is disclosed in the national advertising, and in order to get to that $250 per month payment, there must be $5,000 paid by the customer at signing. The lease price (also known as Cap Cost) we quoted him was $9,500 below MSRP for the Volt he was interested in. But again, even at such a large discount off of MSRP as well as an extremely low interest rate, without the necessary cash due at signing from Mr. Bukovicky there is simply no way to achieve a $250 per month lease payment on a new Chevy Volt. Sincere apologies again to Mr. Bukovicky for any inconvenience. Nang Ha New Car Director

I spoke to someone over the phone and they suggested that I make an appointment since my door locks had not been working properly. I ended up scheduling an appointment for Wednesday, so I dropped my vehicle off early that morning. As the day went by I at least thought that I would have received a phone call letting me know what was going on with my vehicle. Later that evening I went up there just to get my child's car seat and it took about 15-20 minutes for me to get someone to help me with that. I understand it was busy at that time, but you should at least acknowledge your customers instead of constantly just walking by saying nothing. Another 2 days went by and I never received a phone call letting me know that status of my vehicle, oh and I'm still without a vehicle and it has been almost a week now. This type of service is ridiculous and a real inconvenience.
