Due to export restrictions imposed by Mercedes-Benz, we are unable to provide the MSO Manufacturer's Statement of Origin to retail customers. The MSO must be forward to the licensing agency in your home state. We may also require a non-export agreement to be signed at time of purchase. We are sorry this has become necessary, but Mercedes-Benz now imposes harsh penalties on dealerships who engage in the exporting of vehicles from the United States.

Don t hesitate to call if you live out of the area. We are 10 minutes from the airport and will be happy to pick you up. Our salespeople will assist you with every aspect of your car buying experience. They handle everything, right down to printing the paperwork. If you would like to have a pleasant car buying experience, give us a call! To distinguish and strategically position its dealerships, Ken Garff retooled its 80-year old brand. The need for this retooling was driven by an evolving market place and super-savvy customers wanting a different car-buying experience, including more transparency and a higher level of trust. These changes were built around the new brand slogan, "We Hear You," which has been taken across all Ken Garff dealerships in Utah, Iowa, Texas, Nevada and California. "The message we're trying to convey is that our customers should expect a very different car-buying experience when visiting a Ken Garff dealership," says Brett Hopkins, CEO of Ken Garff Automotive Group. "We've learned, through extensive research with customers, that in most car-buying experiences, sales people do too much talking and not enough listening to customers.

RUN! Recently I took my car to Mercedes of SLC to have the Safety Restraint System (SRS) warning light checked. After several hours and a loaner vehicle the dealer told me that it was a seat control module and the repair would be $1100. I inquired if they checked the fuses and relays and they assured me that they had thoroughly checked the car. To me their diagnosis didn’t seem right because of the symptoms. Being mechanically inclined I told the dealer I would like to have a second opinion. I took the car directly to an independent repair facility where, unlike Mercedes, they let me come out in the shop and actually talk to the mechanic while he hooked up the computer to my car. I told him that I thought it was a fuse/relay. Within about 10 minutes he conducted a few tests and said he too thought it was a fuse. We opened the fuse panel and in full-view of me and a subordinate I watched him as he looked for the fuse that completed the circuit to the SRS: IT WAS MISSING! The mechanic went to his work bench and placed the 20amp, .50 cent fuse in the slot and the problem was solved. Someone at the dealer had pulled the fuse and then told me it needed a new part. I immediately returned to the dealer (it had been about an hour) and confronted the Service Manager, and the mechanic. I said they were either: one, liars, or two, incompetent. In either case they lied, either about checking the fuses, or lied about the diagnosis. When confronted it smelled like a cover up! There was a lot of fast talking and a truck load of “how dare you impugn our integrity”. Simply stated, “They were caught disabling my car and trying to get me to pay for an unnecessary $1100 repair”. The service manager in my opinion was terrible! History has taught us that at times the cover-up can be as-bad-as the crime. There is a reason this dealership has many more complaints! They should take care; someone might have them on a hidden camera next time!

Who Helped Me:Michael Chieco
My parents recently purchased a certified, used Mercedes from Ken Garff. Their car-buying experience was very positive and our sales person, Michael Chieco, could not have done a better job. Seeing the care took to make sure my parents got the right car at the right price, and then to see how he patiently taught them how to use the car's features, was much appreciated. Michael will be the first person I call when I'm ready to buy my next car!

Who Helped Me:Dave Franchow
My experience buying a Honda with Dave Franchow and Jenny Whalen was very positive. They were very straight-forward and ensured that I was taken care of. I will not hesitate again to purchase through them again. They embody what customer service is and they are set apart from other car sales professionals.

Who Helped Me:Sean Roberts
We had our 2013 Mercedes-Benz GL450 in for it's annual service recently and were treated so well. Our experience from the time we purchased this vehicle has been by far the best we've ever had. The sales department always treats us like family and the service department (specifically Sean Roberts) is so respectful of our busy schedule! Thanks again Mercedes-Benz of Salt Lake, such a nice place to do business!

Who Helped Me:Jordan Jaussi
I went in without an appointment for an engine light in my C300. Jordan, my service advisor, did everything he could to get my car and have it checked even though they were busy. The mechanic was quick and precise, and gave me an overview of what caused the problem. They were friendly and very professional in my time of need. Thank Jordan and Mercedes for your great service.
