Convertible Deals: February 2014
Spring is just around the corner, and that means we're just a few weeks away from sunny skies, warmer weather and top-down driving. To help you with that last one, we've listed some of the best convertible deals and incentives available this month on some of our favorite new droptops.
The Chevrolet Camaro is a retro-themed 2-door with bold styling and an available convertible body style. In February, the Camaro Convertible is offered with incentives for shoppers looking to finance or pay with cash. For cash buyers, Chevrolet is offering up to $1,000 back on 2013 models, or $500 back on the updated 2014 Camaro. If you're looking to finance, Chevrolet is offering 0 percent interest for up to 60 months on the 2013 Camaro, or 3.9 percent for 72 months on the 2014 model.
The FIAT 500 is a subcompact hatchback offered with a folding cloth top that gives drivers the feel of a convertible -- even though the model's roof rails stay in place when the top is down. In February, FIAT is offering three incentives on the 2013 500 Cabrio. For qualified shoppers looking to finance, FIAT is offering 0 percent interest for up to 60 months. Meanwhile, drivers interested in paying in full for their new FIAT can get a cash-back deal ranging as high as $2,500 -- a big number on a car that starts under $20,000. Finally, lease shoppers can get a 42-month term with payments from $289 per month after $1,299 down at lease signing.
The Ford Mustang is a rear-drive 2-door available as a coupe or a soft-top convertible. In February, it's also available with excellent incentives, whether shoppers are looking to finance or pay with cash. For qualified shoppers interested in financing, Ford is offering 0 percent interest for up to 48 months, 0.9 percent for 60 months or 1.9 percent for 72 months -- deals that can be combined with up to $2,000 cash back. For drivers interested in paying with cash, Ford is offering up to $4,000 back. Both deals are exceptional offers designed to clear out inventory before an all-new 2015 Mustang arrives.
While it may be an SUV, the Jeep Wrangler is also one of the most affordable -- and enjoyable -- convertibles on the market. In February, the 2014 Wrangler is offered with two excellent lease deals. For shoppers interested in a 2-door Wrangler Sport, Jeep is touting a 36-month lease with payments from $319 per month after $2,499 down at lease signing. For those who would prefer a 4-door Wrangler Unlimited, Jeep is offering the same term and the same money down, though monthly payments climb to $359 for the larger member of the Wrangler family.
Mazda MX-5 Miata
If you're looking for top-down thrills and a fantastic driving experience, the 2-seat, rear-drive MX-5 Miata is a good choice. In February, shoppers interested in the 2014 MX-5 Miata can take advantage of two excellent lease deals. For drivers interested in a base-level MX-5 Miata, Mazda is offering payments from $229 per month for 36 months after $2,999 down at lease signing. Drivers who want an MX-5 Miata PRHT -- which boasts a power-retractable hardtop -- will have to pay $319 per month for 36 months after the same $2,999 down at lease signing.
