The Chevrolet Volt is a plug-in hybrid 5-door hatchback capable of traveling around 30 miles on electric power alone. Whether you're looking for a 2013 model or a 2014, you can find a great deal this month on a Volt. If you're looking to lease, Chevrolet is offering the 2014 Volt for 36 months with payments from $299 per month after $2,499 down at lease signing. But finance shoppers also get a good deal, as the 2014 Volt is offered with 0 percent interest for up to 48 months. Of course, cash buyers aren't left out: The 2013 model is available with up to $5,000 cash back through the end of the month.
Ford Fusion Energi
The Ford Fusion Energi is a plug-in hybrid midsize sedan capable of traveling around 20 miles on purely electric power, or 620 miles with a full tank of gas and a full charge. In October, the 2013 Fusion Energi is offered with two great deals. For drivers interested in financing, Ford is touting rates as low as 0 percent for up to 60 months -- plus up to $3,000 cash back. Drivers who pay in full can also get a good deal, as the Fusion Energi is offered with up to $4,500 back for cash buyers.
Honda Civic Hybrid
The compact Honda Civic Hybrid is a gas-powered hybrid vehicle based on the popular Honda Civic sedan. Incentives are rare on the Civic Hybrid, largely because of the sedan's popularity thanks to fuel-economy ratings in excess of 50 miles per gallon. But Honda is offering one deal in October. Through the end of the month, shoppers interested in a 2013 Civic Hybrid can get 0.9 percent interest for up to 60 months. That deal is also available on other Civic models -- including the sporty Si -- for drivers who don't want to pay extra for hybrid gas mileage.
Hyundai Sonata Hybrid
The Hyundai Sonata Hybrid is a gas-powered hybrid sedan based on the midsize Hyundai Sonata. In October, drivers who pick the 2013 Sonata Hybrid can get several great deals. One is a lease offer: With $2,999 down at lease signing, drivers can get a 36-month term with payments from $239 per month. But qualified drivers looking to finance also get a good deal, as Hyundai is offering 0 percent interest for 60 months, or 0.9 percent for 72 months. Finally, Hyundai is offering up to $2,000 cash back on the Sonata Hybrid for drivers paying in full.
Toyota Prius c
The Toyota Prius c is the newest -- and smallest -- member of the Prius family. Boasting five doors and 50-plus mpg, the Prius c is offered with a variety of impressive deals in October. For drivers interested in financing, the Prius c is available with 0 percent interest for up to 36 months. But the lease deal is even better: For qualified shoppers who can put down $2,578 at lease signing, the Prius c is offered with payments starting at just $179 per month for 36 months. That's a good deal for a recently released new car with exceptional gas mileage.
