SUV Deals: July 2012
Buyers interested in a new SUV will find several great deals available this month. Because many shoppers wait until inclement weather arrives in the winter to choose a new SUV, great incentives are typically available in the summer when demand is lower. And for many automakers, July is nearing the end of the model year-another reason for the special offers. We've rounded up some of the best deals available in July to help buyers find a new SUV at a great price.
Although demand is high for Chevrolet's mid-size Equinox, the automaker is still offering a few incentives on the SUV during July. For shoppers interested in financing, Chevrolet is offering interest rates as low as 2.9 percent for up to 60 months on all models in the Equinox lineup. Lease shoppers will also get a deal: Chevrolet is advertising monthly payments as low as $229 after $1,689 at signing. That's a good offer further enhanced by its short 24-month lease term. While it's not zero percent, these are still great July deals considering the Equinox's recently updated design and impressive powerplants.
Although Ford's recently redesigned Explorer remains hugely popular with buyers, the SUV is available with several incentives in July. The best deal is for shoppers interested in paying cash, as Ford is offering up to $2,000 cash back on all 2012 models. Ford isn't offering any incentives on interest rates in July, but the automaker is touting lease deals that bring monthly payments to just $319 after $3,824 at signing. That's a great rate considering the term is just 24 months. Like some other automakers, Ford also offers $500 back to members of the active or reserve armed forces, or the same amount for active police officers.
Jeep Grand Cherokee
The highly praised 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee is available throughout July with incentives for buyers whether leasing, financing or paying cash. For shoppers looking to lease the SUV, Jeep is advertising a 39-month deal with payments as low as $309 after $2,499 at signing. For cash buyers, Jeep is offering up to $1,000 back on any model in the Grand Cherokee lineup. Qualified shoppers interested in financing a Grand Cherokee can take advantage of zero percent interest for up to 36 months. Similar deals are also available for other Jeep models, although buyers interested in a compact Patriot can get an even better deal: up to $1,500 cash back or zero percent interest for up to 36 months, plus $500 cash back, throughout July.
Nissan's funky Juke has been in high demand since its arrival last year, and now the automaker is offering some incentives for shoppers interested in a deal on the compact SUV. According to Nissan, 2012 Juke models are now available to qualified shoppers with 0.9 percent interest for up to 36 months or 1.9 percent for up to 60 months, plus up to $500 cash back. Shoppers interested in leasing a new Juke will also find a deal, as Nissan is touting monthly payments as low as $269 for a 39-month lease after $2,999 due at signing.
Car shoppers interested in a good deal on a new compact SUV this month would be wise to check out Toyota's popular RAV4. The automaker is offering several major incentives for car shoppers, whether they're looking to finance, lease or pay cash. For shoppers interested in financing the SUV, Toyota is offering interest rates as low as zero percent for up to 60 months, while buyers looking to pay cash can get up to $750 back. Lease customers also get a good deal in July, with Toyota offering monthly payments as low as $189 after $2,399 at signing-a deal that also includes $500 cash back.
